In July 2008, AsbestosServices.com Ltd changed it's name to Energy & Environmental Surveys Ltd to reflect the additional surveying services that the company offers.

Whilst best known for conducting asbestos surveys for commercial property clients trhoughout the United Kingdom, the company also provides Comnmercial Energy Assessments (Commercial EPC's) to comply with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) which came into force at various stages throughout 2008.

The EPBD regulations make it necessary for all commercial properties over 50 square metres to have a Commercial EPC before being offered for sale or lease.

This means that before a property can be marketed it must have a Commercial Energy Asessment or energy survey carried out.

The EPC's are produced by a complex computer program, but in order for the data to be entered accurately, the property must first be inspected by a competent Commercial Energy Assessor.

We now offer Commercial Energy Asessments to commercial property landlords, commercial property agents and commercial property managers throughout England and Wales.
